Principal
Mr. Kalman marks his 35th year in education this year. Beginning as a middle school English teacher in the Bronx, Mr. Kalman then taught for several years in New Hampshire prior to becoming a principal there in 1976. In the early 1980's, Mr. Kalman assumed the principalship at the Chancellor Livingston School in Rhinebeck, NY. He became the Purchase School principal in 1998. Mr. Kalman has a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University, and a master's degree in teaching from the University of New Hampshire. Mr. Kalman is a teacher trainer in Positive Discipline, Core Communication, and Neurolinguistics. He is also a published, freelance editorial photographer. He, along with his wife, Linda, have six children and four grandchildren.
