We have a talented, dedicated faculty who are collectively and individually committed to bringing out the best in every student. The adults in Purchase School believe in nurturing youngsters using kindness along with firmness. In our school, children are encouraged to think independently and are helped to acquire feelings of belonging and significance.

Academically, Purchase School students are well prepared for the challenges of the new NY State Learning Standards. Our students consistently score at mastery levels on statewide assessments. Last year, for example, our fourth graders were among the highest scoring group on the State Mathematics Test and the State English Language Arts Test.
